The Aurora AGi4H-24 is a 48 Volt DC Generator designed specifically for charging battery banks in off-grid and hybrid power systems. Powered by the reliable Hatz 1B30E industrial diesel engine and paired with a Linz Electric ESA2-48/125 9-phase DC alternator, this generator produces regulated DC output for efficient battery charging without the losses found in typical AC generator and charger combinations.

DC Charging Performance
The Linz Electric ESA2-48/125 alternator is designed specifically for low-voltage DC generation and battery charging applications. It provides adjustable output voltage from 45 to 60 VDC and can deliver up to 125 amps of charging current with very low output ripple.

Automatic Operation with the TG410 Controller
When equipped with the DynaGen TG410 controller, the generator can operate automatically as part of a hybrid power system. The controller provides engine monitoring, safety shutdowns, and configurable alarms.
The generator can also integrate with inverter systems or battery monitors using a simple two-wire start signal. When the battery voltage drops below a set threshold, the generator can start automatically, charge the battery bank, and shut down once the batteries are fully charged.
