Shipping Generators Since 2005

Aurora Generators has been shipping our generators since 2005 across Canada and the Continental USA. Only utilizing first line residential freight carriers such as FedEx Freight which provide fast and reliable service, combined with economical rates. We will ship whether it be a dock to dock, business delivery or directly to a residential home with power tailgate service provided for easy unloading.

Every generator is carefully palatalized and wooden crated to ensure safety, ease of transportation and damage free upon arrival. Tracking information and insurance is provided on all shipments. Residential deliveries are notified directly by the freight carrier for confirmation delivery. Business/commercial deliveries can request a "notify to consignee” to schedule exact day of delivery service.

All shipping and brokerage paperwork is provided by Aurora Generators. No additional work or fees is incurred by the customer, including possible customs for USA customers/purchases. All generators are Canadian manufactured duty-free.

Optional power liftgate service can be provided for residential deliveries or where either a loading dock or forklift is not available for unloading. Residential freight terminal customer pick-up can be arranged for additional cost savings or for rural undeliverable locations.

Customers can arrange either there own shipping or opt to pick-up directly from us. Separately purchased parts or accessories including warranty items are insured and tracked by insured common mail carrier or courier. Generator shipments outside North America can be shipped to a North American International freight forwarder which will arrange the exported shipment to your country. Please call or inquire for a list of these popular forwarders.

Any reference made to trade terms (such as EXW, FCA, etc.) is deemed to be made to the relevant term of Incoterms published by the International Chamber of Commerce All merchandise is sold EXW – Ex Works Aurora Generators Inc. This is in accordance with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules.

We want to ensure that our buyers enjoy a smooth transaction and a positive experience shopping with us. Please remember the following points

Packaging - All generators are palatalized, wooden crated for ease of transportation, safety and damage free.

Delivery - Generators are shipped by first line residential freight carriers during regular business hours Mon-Fri. Parts, accessories or warranty items are shipped by either insured common mail or courier with tracking.

Customs Paperwork - Aurora Generators will provide are the necessary paperwork, including customs paperwork for USA purchases. We use our customs broker and there is no additional costs or work required by the customer/purchaser.

Insurance - The carrier’s standard cargo insurance may not cover the full retail value of your purchase, however, Aurora Generators will buy additional coverage free of charge to the customer.

Transit time - An average shipment will move about 500 miles / 800kms per business day, plus a day for pickup and a day for delivery. Most shipments are received within 3 -10 business days.

Pickups - Customers can either arrange there own shipping (In Canada Only) or pick-up directly from us. Shipments to the USA must be done by Aurora Generators due to the amount of customs paperwork and we use our customs broker for all cross-border shipments.

Service Charges - Non-business locations such as homes or limited access such as schools, airports or military bases will incur a small additional service charge for delivery as set by the freight carriers. Other services such as lift gate service will incur a small service charge as well.
