Welcome to Aurora Generators Inc. By purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your order.

1. General Information

  • Legal Jurisdiction: Aurora Generators Inc. is a Canadian-owned company operating under Canadian law.

2. Products and Services

  • These Terms apply to all products sold, including diesel generators, parts, and accessories.

  • Custom-built Generators: Custom orders follow the same terms as standard products. Since many generators are built to order, they are not returnable.

  • Installation: Aurora Generators does not provide installation services. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for proper installation and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • Accepted Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via check or wire transfer. Deposits of up to $5,000 may be made by credit card.

  • Currency: Prices are listed in both USD and CAD.

  • Taxes: Sales tax is only charged to Canadian customers where applicable.

  • All Sales Final: Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. Customers are responsible for verifying that they are purchasing the correct product before completing their order.

  • Deposit Requirement: Deposits are required before production begins on generators.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Locations: We ship to businesses and residences within the Continental USA and Canada.

  • Delivery Conditions: The shipping address must be accessible by freight truck for commercial deliveries or a straight truck with a liftgate for residential deliveries. Unpaved roads and driveways may result in delivery refusal by common carriers.

  • Shipping Responsibility: While Aurora Generators facilitates shipping, we are not responsible for the shipment itself. Any claims for damages must be made directly with the freight carrier or the insurance provider if applicable. Most shipments include insurance.

  • Delivery Timeline: Estimated delivery times are provided in your quote but are not guaranteed. Appointment deliveries can be scheduled, and tracking information is usually provided automatically.

  • Damaged Shipments: Customers should inspect goods upon arrival. Products that arrive damaged should be refused and documented on the Bill of Lading (BOL). Once accepted, the customer assumes full responsibility for the condition of the shipment.

5. Warranties and Liability

  • Product Warranty: Warranty terms vary by product. Customers should review the Aurora Generators Warranty Page for details on coverage and claims.

  • Limitation of Liability: Aurora Generators is not responsible for power failures, improper generator use, installation errors, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Installation and Compliance: Customers must hire a licensed electrician and ensure the generator meets all local codes and regulations.

  • Permits and Regulations: It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Maintenance and Service: Customers must follow the recommended maintenance schedule to keep their warranty valid.

7. Dispute Resolution

 

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Canadian law.

  • Returns and Disputes: Since all sales are final, returns are only accepted in cases where Aurora Generators has made a shipping error.
