Why Choose the Mecc Alte S15W for Your Portable Generator?
S15W Series alternators are single-phase brushless units. They do not require maintenance since they do not have slip rings or slipping contacts. S15W alternators are made in compliance with the 2006/42, 2014/35, 2014/30, 2011/65, and 2015/863 directives and their amendments and the EN 60034-1, CEI 2-3, IEC 34-1, VDE 0530, BS 4999-5000, and N.F. 51.111 regulations.
The end brackets are diecast in high resistance alluminum alloy, the shaft is in C45 steel and it has a fan fastened with screws. The mechanical protection level meets standard IP23 (upon request higher levels of protection can be supplied).
The H-class insulation and windings are impregnated with tropicalized epoxy resins. The standard generators comply with the basic safety requirements of the European regulation on electromagnetic compatibility; by applying the European standards EN 61000-6-3 and EN61000-6-2, we comply with the above-mentioned regulation.
* Many alternators are available as single or twin bearings with double support. To couple them to a prime mover, choose the correct “FORM” to ensure you have the proper shaft, flanges, and couplings.
