Instrumentation, Protection & Control
At the core of this generator’s intelligence is the DynaGen TG350 controller—a rugged, feature-rich module engineered for demanding off-grid, telecom, and industrial applications. Built to withstand extreme temperatures, shock, and vibration, the TG350 delivers proven reliability in remote or unattended sites.
This controller provides complete system oversight, including real-time monitoring of engine performance, battery voltage, fuel level, and runtime hours. Its two-wire auto-start compatibility enables seamless coordination with inverters, charge controllers, and hybrid energy systems, making it ideal for automatic battery charging cycles.
The TG350 supports CANbus J1939 communication, allowing integration with modern diesel engines for advanced diagnostics, load management, and remote telemetry. This ensures compatibility with many third-party monitoring platforms and remote management tools. For installations requiring SCADA or building automation integration, an optional Modbus variant is also available.
Additional features include programmable warm-up, cool-down, and exercise cycles, as well as configurable warning alarms and automatic shutdowns for conditions such as low oil pressure, high engine temperature, or over/under voltage. Event logging and password-protected settings offer added security and make maintenance and troubleshooting fast and accurate.
With USB access and PC connectivity, configuration is simple using DynaGen’s free software—or changes can be made directly through the front-panel display. The TG350 significantly enhances operational control, system safety, and overall generator reliability in any mission-critical DC power installation.
Construction
Aurora Generators are engineered for long-term reliability in demanding environments. Every unit is built using high-quality materials and components that stand up to the challenges of outdoor, off-grid, and remote installations.
The enclosure and frame are constructed from galvanneal steel—a zinc-coated material that provides superior corrosion resistance and is ideal for outdoor use. To further enhance durability and aesthetics, all panels are finished with a UV-resistant, powder-coated finish that resists chipping, fading, and rust, even in harsh climates. For added protection, all fasteners are stainless steel, ensuring nothing corrodes or seizes over time.
To minimize vibration and extend component life, the generator is mounted with engineered vibration isolation mounts, which reduce mechanical stress on internal parts and connected structures. This not only improves reliability but also contributes to quieter operation.
The silenced exhaust system is tuned to reduce noise without sacrificing performance, making the generator suitable for both commercial and residential environments where sound levels must be kept low.
Access for maintenance is simple and secure. The panel doors are fully removable and lockable, allowing for quick service while keeping internal components protected from the elements and unauthorized access. These doors are mounted using tool-free lever latches for added convenience during inspection or repairs.
Aurora’s attention to structural detail results in a generator that is durable, low-maintenance, and built for years of dependable operation, even in remote and harsh conditions.
