About Portable Diesel Generators:

Diesel-powered generators produce less carbon monoxide (CO) than gas, propane and natural gas generators of the same size. However, running a diesel generator indoors is still unsafe due to the risk of CO build-up. Additionally, diesel generators produce nitrogen oxides (NOx), an air pollutant and particulate matter (PM) that are harmful to human health when inhaled.

Gas, propane, and natural gas generators also produce CO and other harmful emissions; however, they tend to have more CO and other pollutants than diesel generators.

It is important to note that even though diesel generators may produce fewer emissions than other types of generators, they should still always be used outdoors in well-ventilated areas to ensure the safety of people and the environment.
