12″ 5-15P to Locking L14-30R Generator Adapter Cord
Note: In this configuration, both conductors (X and Y) carry the same 120 V phase (each is 120 V to neutral). Because they’re tied together, there’s 0 V between them, so any 240 V–only outlets won’t receive power. This cord is ideal for powering a home from a smaller generator or inverter that provides only a single 120 V phase.
This adapter converts a standard NEMA 5-15P household plug into a NEMA L14-30R four-pole twist-lock receptacle, delivering up to 20 amps at 125 volts (1,875 watts). Constructed with UL62 standard 12 AWG SJTW cable and stranded copper conductors, it ensures reliable power transfer and resistance to abrasion, oil, and sunlight.
Designed for seamless integration with portable generators, manual transfer switch inlets, and RV power panels, this OEM-style adapter features a moulded polycarbonate plug and receptacle housing with built-in strain relief for superior durability in harsh environments.
