Copper Shortage
The price of copper just hit a 10-year high this week. Generators use a large amount of copper. As a result, the prices of generators will increase more than usual this time around. Demand is high and rising quickly. Electric vehicles also use lots of copper for their motors.
The world moved from a surplus in 2020 to a deficit now, so prices will continue to rise.
Other companies are now dealing with 5-6 month lead times for new generators. AURORA prices will soon go up any day now, but we are not short on supply.
